The staff were hospitable, making us feel at home after long days of exploring.
The room was quite small, feeling a bit claustrophobic for a longer stay.

Make sure you stay in the quadruple room with 2 full sized single beds, nice bathroom, for example. Everyone is competent and host too. The location is magnificent, walk from the train station.

New-fashioned, nicely furnished room complete with juice and adequate amenities and beatiful decoration. The price is just right - US $ 292. The location is incredible, 1 mile from a medieval cathedral...

Is it hype or the real deal?
Excellent location near major attractions and cozy atmosphere. The staff's hospitality.
Street noise can be disruptive at night, impacting the overall comfort of restful sleep.

Despite the fact that we were a little late for the check-in, the reception at our arrival was fantastic. The ambient of the hotel is really nice; nicely decorated, especially the stairway and the rooms. The rooms are very clean and fresh. The situation of the hotel is wonderful; in the middle of the center and most important... Quiet. Although it is situated very near the market, we did not hear any noice. I could suggest this hotel to anyone that does not want to spend too much money and have a wonderful stay at the same time.
Nothing new for Italy; breakfast. The breakfast could be improved a lot. Coffee, tea or other beverages had to be taken out from machines, even the juices. The breads could be more fresh. We had a room on the 2nd (upper floor), which I believe are the nicest rooms just below the roof top. Although the stairs are easy to walk, you have to walk 3 stairs to arrive to the upper floor. For us not a problem but for someone who has difficulties walking stairs, it might be.

Great location just in the heart of Florence Nice and helpful staff Parking just around the corner, city market also very close. Our room was very nice vintage stylized, homely and enough equiped at the same time.
Quite poor breackfast, mostly due to size of breackfast room and the hotel. But its not a big problem when you are in the center of the city.

unexpected amenities, large comfortable bathroom, excellent location
Carrying luggage with a young child up flights of stairs is not what I signed up for!!! Plus, the breakfast fell flat compared to other places in Italy!!!

I found this hotel to be very charming and enjoyed staying there very much. The people working there seemed genuinely friendly and welcoming, and very helpful. The room was small, but comfortable with room for everything. It had lots of little extra's that were much appreciated like hooks & shelves to put things on, screens on the window, and a nice big bathroom & shower. This was our 3rd hotel in Italy and the only one with this attention to detail that made our stay much more comfortable. The decor was just lovely with the painted ceiling, pretty bedspreads, and delicate wrought iron details-it was exactly what I wanted from a hotel in Italy. They had a nice/typical breakfast and I was happy with the location, not too far to walk to anything & found plenty to eat nearby. I would stay here again with hesitation, best hotel experience in our 2 week trip.
Even though it is a short walk from the train station, it was difficult to maneuver through busy streets and sidewalks with too many people with our luggage. Do yourself a favor and take a cab!

Ideal location within easy walking distance of all major sights, galleries etc. Great bathroom. Characterful bedroom and comfy large bed. Good air con and effective double glazing.
Breakfast was a bit weird; there were some nice fresh rolls available, but most of it was overpackaged and plastic. For an italian hotel not to have decent coffee or fresh real orange juice was very disappointing.

A cosy small hotel with friendly and helpful Nadine and Givanni. Relatively spacious room. A good Internet connection in the room. Close proximity to all the major attraction.
Poor lighting in the bathroom eg. For applying make-up. Difficulty in regulating the shower water temperature and the shower head is badly placed for the comfort of older people.

Location, location and location. Easy to do sightseeing, shopping to nearly most of popular points of Florence old city region. In addition, it is quite spacious with over 4.5 meter height. Our room is decorated and designed as 2 levels and still comfortable. Breakfast is also not bad.

The room was spacious, clean, and provided a comfortable bed. Two powerful air conditioning units kept the space pleasant . I appreciated the daily maid service, returning to a cool, tidy room after exploring. Breakfast had a good variety despite the cozy setting. The hotel's charm shone through in its beautifully restored features. The location made it easy to walk to the train station and central attractions. Managing luggage with a young child was a bit challenging. The friendly staff contributed positively to our visit.
